Keto Friendly Breaded Chicken served in the Milanese Style!
This delicious meal is an absolute treat and a total boon for anyone following a low carb diet. Tasty, filling, satisfying and pretty classy (if we don't say so ourselves), this whole, balanced meal comes in at under 5 carbs (including the salad underneath!

Nothing beats crispy chicken, but for those following a stricter keto diet, even the bread crumb coating on a chicken breast could clock in at 10 carbs (just for breaded chicken), making it problematic in the context of a full day's meals.

Ingredients

A few slices of Lighter White, blitzed into crumbs
- 1 x Chicken breast, butterflied and beaten flat between two slices of clingfilm
- Salad of your choice
- 10-20ml Oil (or a good few spays from a bottle)
- Salt and pepper
- 1 x Egg, beaten
Directions
Place your crumbs on a large plate
Add your beaten egg to a wide bowl and then place the chicken in it. Add a good pinch of salt and pepper here.
Place the eggy chicken into the crumbs and then carefully coat. You can repeat this process for an extra thick, crispy coating if desired (remember — Heylo is super low carb)
To cook, preheat your oven to 200C and place the chicken on a well oiled tray or baking rack. Cook for 20-25 minutes, turning once part way through. Alternatively, this can also be shallow fried in oil and foaming butter.
Serve on top of a delicious and nutritious salad of your choice.
