This delicious meal is an absolute treat and a total boon for anyone following a low carb diet. Tasty, filling, satisfying and pretty classy (if we don't say so ourselves), this whole, balanced meal comes in at under 5 carbs (including the salad underneath!

  • Place your crumbs on a large plate
  • Add your beaten egg to a wide bowl and then place the chicken in it. Add a good pinch of salt and pepper here.
  • Place the eggy chicken into the crumbs and then carefully coat. You can repeat this process for an extra thick, crispy coating if desired (remember — Heylo is super low carb)
  • To cook, preheat your oven to 200C and place the chicken on a well oiled tray or baking rack. Cook for 20-25 minutes, turning once part way through. Alternatively, this can also be shallow fried in oil and foaming butter.
  • Serve on top of a delicious and nutritious salad of your choice.
