Many people going through the menopause experience weight gain and because of this avoid foods that are high in fat however the keto diet requires these foods to actually help burn fat.

Another symptom that has been associated with the weight gain in menopausal women is the cravings as the hormone levels have become unbalanced. The keto diet has been designed to help combat these cravings and to make healthy choices readily (and tastily) available. 

Use a low carb diet to help with brain-fog

One of the most common, and some would say inconvenient, symptoms of the menopause is the brain fog. The keto diet has been proven to help reduce brain fog and help those following the lifestyle to experience a clearer mind.
