Feta Baked Eggs Recipe

Ingredients

  • 12 eggs

  • 200g block of feta cheese

  • Smoked paprika (to taste)

  • Black pepper (to taste)

  • Chilli flakes (to taste)

blank

  • HeyLO! Bagel

  • OR HeyLO! Lighter White Bread

  • Avocado

  • Smoked salmon

  • Chives

Directions

  1. Add the feta and eggs to a greased baking dish.

  2. Season to taste: we recommend black pepper, smoked paprika, and some chilli flakes if you like heat! You probably won’t need salt as feta can be salty – and you can always salt later.

  3. Lightly whisk the eggs to break the yolks.

  4. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for around 20 minutes – until the egg whites have just about set.

  5. Once out of the oven, mix the feta and cooked eggs together.

  6. Serve on your HeyLO! Bagel, Lighter White Bread or your bread of choice – this goes perfectly with some bacon, avocado or smoked salmon!
