A lovely low-carb recipe to have up your sleeve.
There's no Heylo products involved in this recipe, but its still a cracker - and mopping up some rich gravy with buttered low-carb white bread is always a joy!
Pro Tip: We recommend you watch the toad in the hole in the oven regularly while cooking.
Ingredients
- 4 eggs
- 2 Tbsp (15g) arrowroot powder
- 20g almond flour
- 200mls of dairy-free or lactose free whole milk (lower in carbs)
- cooking oil (we like to use avocado oil or a light olive oil)
- 4 sausages
Directions
Preheat the oven at 200C.
Mix the eggs, arrowroot powder, almond flour, and milk until all well blended.
Pour a small amount of oil into a roasting tray, place the sausages in the tin and cook in the oven until browned.
Remove from the oven, pour in your mixture, and return to the oven for 15 – 20 mins.
