A couple of years ago, pesto eggs became a bit of a viral craze. But unlike some online trends, this one shouldn't be forgotten about so quickly! Its truly delicious and served with a Heylo bagel (1.4g carbs!), or indeed on any of our savoury breads (Lighter White, Artisan Seeded), this is a low-carb recipe you'll want to eat again and again.

  • Heat a frying pan over a medium heat and add a tablespoon of pesto.
  • Add your eggs. As they cook, baste with any excess pesto from around the edges.
  • While your egg cooks, toast your bagels.
  • Once cooked, butter your bagels, season to taste. and serve with the pesto eggs on top.
