Our amazing pizza boats are low in carbs and high in protein. They don't half taste good too!
A perfect recipe for when you want to be a little more creative but you don't have a lot of time! These can be thrown together in a matter of minutes and are perfect for a filling lunch or evening meal. 6g of carbs for a low carb pizza boat? Yes please.
Ingredients
- 1 Heylo Lighter White Sub
- Pizza sauce - we mixed tomato puree, good quality tomato ketchup, olive oil, mixed herbs and garlic powder
- Grated cheese - cheddar or mozzarella
- Any toppings - We used mushrooms and some olive paste
Directions
Cut the sub(s) in half and grill bottom side up for a few minutes just to crisp up the edges
Add pizza sauce, cheese & toppings
Pop back under the grill for 5-7 mins or until cheese is melted & starts to crisp up
