Low Carb Toast (with Smoked Salmon and Scrambled Egg)

This low-carb breakfast is the perfect way to start the day

Smoked salmon and scrambled eggs are just a perfect treat for breakfast. The soft, creamy eggs (flecked. with chives or spring onion tops) perfectly compliment the smokey flavour of the salmon. For those on low-carb diets, the hack here is to swap your toast for Heylo — either our Artisan Seeded or Lighter White (only adds a couple of extra carbs). The benefits don't end at low-carb. This one is high protein and high fibre too (not to mention the salmon's healthy omega 3 fats).

  • In a sauce pan, add a little butter and scrambled your eggs over a low heat. Cook and season to your liking.
  • While the eggs cook, toast your Heylo slices
  • When the eggs and toast are ready, butter the toast and arranged the eggs and salmon on top. Garnish with finely chopped chives.
